Blagrove’s in-house claims department now deals with all new claims. The office is in Manchester city centre. Steve Hickman, the Claims Manager, and his team are experienced and well versed in commercial fleet claims and aim to deliver a first class claims service.
Claims previously reported to FMG will continue to be dealt with by them and liaison regarding those claims should continue with FMG.

When a new claim is reported our first notification of loss team will seek to gather sufficient information to validate the claim, fully understand liability, consider the damage aspect to the Policyholder’s vehicle and also the type and level of any claim likely to be made against the Policyholder. The gathering of this information is extremely important to ensure that delays are not incurred and costs are contained.
Our claims team will look to establish a close working relationship with the Policyholder to provide the best possible customer service and to assist with the cost containment of third party claims.
Our engineering partners have an extensive network of commercial and private car repairers, utilisation of which should assist in reducing the vehicle off road time for the Policyholder’s vehicle, minimising costs and limiting the Policyholder’s inconvenience wherever possible. In addition, whenever possible, our engineering partners will also be utilised to manage third party repairs to assist in mitigating losses, in particular in relation to credit hire spend.
